SIPARIO
Oil on canvas

Sipario is a painting-installation that plays with the boundary between painting and object, between stage and backstage. The central figure, with its absent gaze and long eyelashes made of colored threads, evokes the idea of a theater curtain opening, intimately revealing itself.
The eyelashes, like strips of fabric, descend from the canvas and extend into the space, inviting the viewer to enter an inner world. Here, the curtain does not merely hide or reveal: it becomes the scene itself, the gesture of revelation, the threshold between interiority and exteriority.
It is an invitation to look beyond the visible, to grasp the vulnerability and poetry of someone who, like the painted figure, reveals yet withholds, opens yet conceals.
