PORTFOLIO

My work begins where the surface breaks.

I don’t make art to retell the trauma—I make art to show the wound and claim it.

Through painting and sculpture, installation and performance I manipulate materials to investigate fragility as both a device of memory and a source of transformative power.

I am drawn to what persists at the margins: untold stories and daily gestures, invisible memories and childhood shadows. There I meet my own beginning—not as a place of fear, but as a space I can now hold.

The trauma steps back; the little girl I was steps forward. I choose how to wear the scar and I reconnect with the self beneath it.

My practice explores how roots and rupture articulate new systems of meaning, weaving connections between identity and metamorphosis.

I work with fabrics and scraps, everyday fragments and natural elements that become bodies and witnesses. They carry both the mark and the mending.

By manipulating these "hyperobjects" of neglect, I create bodies and witnesses that challenge the biopolitics of invisibility. Sewing, tearing, knotting, and binding are no longer just personal gestures; they have become rituals of care and collective insurrection.

I explore how roots and ruptures can articulate new systems of meaning, weaving connections between identity and metamorphosis.

My art seeks a balance between the monumental and the delicate, between what remains and what flees, between voice and silence. It invites the viewer to meet the edge: the point where beauty and fracture lean against each other, where scars become a map.
